The experiences and memories will last forever and the unit will never be
forgotten CHYEA! I’d like to dedicate this year book to the members that have
passed on and the new ones that we don’t know yet. May our days at southern be filled with jokes
and fun. THE UNIT FOREVER
Intro:
The unit was
created one Thursday night of the fall semester when the guys had taken their
usual walk down to the old WHAT BAR. It
was pouring rain and the fellas got some garbage bags and still walked down
together as a force. Peter Kaminsky was
leading the charge yelling” if one of us falls we all fall, ducks fly together”
the group repeated at the top of their lungs the entire way. When the bar had closed Peter Paguaga and Bob
Matthews threw up 2 fingers into the night sky and said unit assemble. That night a great thing was born and will
forever remain the chase hall 2nd floor unit.

Pete Paguaga: PETEY
PAPS, CHARLIE WEISS, GRANPA, PETER GAMMONS
Bio: Born and raised in Long Island, NY. A huge Yankees,
Islanders, G-MEN, and NOTRE DAME fan cause “nooo wway ND is losing today.” Never wakes up before 1 and is the best NCAA
and NHL player.
Height: 5-7
Can be found: usually in between Engelmann and the
Student Center between morning and class time.
Rich Romaine:
BEAST!!!
Bio: Born in Danbury, CT
where he resides with is Mom, Dad, and sister.
His diet consists of bacon and pepperoni pizzas also protein shakes and
the occasional ham and cheese sandwich.
Has only been recently beaten in Madden twice, once by James and once by
tom.
Height: 5-10
Can be found: in his bed
doing something on his laptop or hangin and bangin down at golds gym brother!
Frankie Gambino: Frankie F Baby
Bio: Born in Long Island, NY. Enjoys long walks on the beach with his
biddy, is known for his charm and good sense of humor. Likes to pack apple skoal and loves to play
COD “enemy recon plane right above us”. Enjoys making Getty runs with his pals.

Can be found: usually where there are any females running
around or Socos on a Wed. night
James Sullivan:
SULLY, PHIN MAN
Bio: Born in Miami, FL where he can be found swimming
with schools of dolphins, that's where the nickname phin man originated. Many deep sea fishermen would think a shark
was among them but it was just old James sully trying to board the ship. Hes
also is a huge wrestling fan.
Height: 5-11
Can be found: Pretty much anywhere, or watching the Phins
play on Sunday
Jeff Cennamo: JAZZY JEFF
Bio: Born in Trumbull, CT with drumsticks in hand. Made a name for himself at Trumbull high
leading the marching band to 3 state titles and facing off in the new movie
Drumline 2: The Best of CT.
Height: 5-71/2
Can be found: in his room playing COD or out burning up
Mike Infante: THE
MAN, INSHOTE
Bio: Born and raised in COS COB, CT by thugs and killers
which is where he learned the techs of how to pimp mad biddies and basically
rate girls on a scale not many can understand (-5 to 5). I think Kaminsky still
ponders on what that scale means but that’s another chapter. Is also undeniably
known as one of the best all-around athletes in Chase Unit history.

Can be found: usually packing a fat dip or out on the
prowl for some fresh biscuit.
Jimmy Swanson:
SWANNY, JIMBO
Bio: Born in Newington, CT where he's known the basics
since grade school. Came to SCSU and is known for walking home in a rain storm
from work one night. Only Swanson had the balls to walk 8 miles in the
rain. He’s currently up for HOF status
and no one would deny he holds the keys to the unit’s foundation.

Can be found: chillen in his room or speaking at a local
state meeting as the unit’s delegate
Bob Matthews:
BOBBO, CHYEA KID
Bio: Born and raised in Southern Jersey where you can
catch him on the beach knocking back coronas and catching the waves on the
shore. Bob is a well liked member and many know him for the great stories he
tells around the dinner table or just chillen in the common room. Regardless Bob will be back for the spring
semester to show us what SCSU been missing.

CHYEA!
John Sicignano: SIG
Bio: John was born and raised in Strong Island where he
was a dominant pitcher for his high school baseball team. John is a guy who is laid back and can be
found out on Getty runs with Caputo, Spencer, and Bern. LETS GO PAT is what you can hear him yelling
most of the time.

Can be found: in Paguaga or Caputo's room
Zach Spencer:
SPENCE
Bio: Zack was born in CALIFORNIA where he was hangin and
bangin down at golds gym brother. Works at Renos pizza where you can get all
you can eat pizza on Tuesday nights.
Some of the best pizza in Orange, CT and Bern's favorite as well.
Height: 5-10
Can be found: at renos or hanging with his buddies

Mike Caputo: CAPUTO
Bio: Mike was born in Milford, CT and is a steady working
man at stop and shop on the post road.
He enjoys getting the pop off right with his buddies and throwing the
ol' pigskin around for fun in the quad. What most people don't know about
Caputo is the love hes got for his friends and of course PAT! Let’s go PAT!!!!
HEY DAWG HEYYYY. He also has his
everyday encounters with the mondo subs lady. “can I have a 6 inch………WHATS
OWNNNN IT!!!!!!!!!!”.

Andrew Pugliese:
PUGS, PIFFMASTER
Bio: Pugs was born and raised in the corn fields of
Amity, CT. He is known as the piffmaster
around the hard streets of New Haven, CT.
Has a great sense of humor and is a great friend to all, never shys away
and is always down for a game of stickball.
Height: 5-10
Can be found: mean streets of the 4th floor
Manny: THE BARBER
Bio: The futbol player from Northwest Catholic brings
humor and excitement to the unit. He is known for his clean cuts and fresh edge
ups just don't think you'll get the full service for free. Manny is also an
artistic guy who enjoys creating t-shirts. He gives the unit a new look and
style.

Can be found: at the track or cutting hair in the hallway
Eric Titus:THE
GURU, TIGHTASS
Bio: This North Brandford native has now taken over New
Haven with his fantasy football tactics and colorful ways of attacking the
game. He is also the computer guy, if
you have an issue with the old comp (not you mac users) then titus is the man
to see. His up tempo personality will solve your problems quick and true.

Can be found: at 5 am picking up and dropping guys on his
fantasy team
Matt Reid:CREEPIN
REED, REEEEEEEEEEEEEED
Bio: Reid was born and raised in Wallingford, CT where he
was pals with James Sullivan through grad school. Reid is probably the only kid I know who
plays World of Warcraft all day and all night but hey the kid is ranked so we
gotta give it to him. He is a lefty
pitcher on the chase hall baseball team and has a nice 2 seam to complement his
fastball.

Can be found: in the war room playing WOW
Pete Kaminsky:PETE
CRACK
Bio: Peter claims he was born in Jersey and now resides
in Monroe, CT with his parents and his younger sister. Everyone knows Pete for his arrogance and
sarcasm. For a while a lot of us thought he was afraid.... afraid his balls
were going to get stolen because he was always hanging onto them. But he said
he was just playing a little pool. You can hear him from a mile away with his
famous mating call and the girls just can’t get enough of him.

Justic
Greco:GRECCCOOOO
Bio: Greco was born in Oxford CT and is a farmers boy
turned guido. He enjoys summers down in the Jersey shore with Pauly D, and The
Situation. He is consistent with his
lifting program and is looking to become the first Mr. SCSU. But the poles are
still pending on a 2/3 decision.

Bern Micik:BERN REX
Bio: Born and raised in Greenwich, CT. Likes to head down to R Bar on Friday nights
with the boys and play football on Tuesday and Thursday. Also enjoys hangin and bangin down at the
Moore field house brother with the beast Rich Romaine. Huge 2Pac fan and THUG
LIFE.

Tyillian:WILL TILL, MARCUS
Bio: Resides in the hard knock streets of Newington,
CT. Likes to play basketball with his
buddies and enjoys getting crunk on Fridays at R Bar. A good hearted kid that
is a quality roomate and friend. Leads
chase hall unit in points per game and rebounds per game on its basketball
team.

Can be found: Ballin at the moore field house
Josh Dydyn:DD WHY
DAN
Bio: Not enough could be said about the candidate for
chase hall rookie of the year. This is a kid who definitely loves hitting up R
Bar on Fridays and loves to kick back bud lights any chance he can get.
Height: 5-8
Can be found: pretty much on any wall of any club in the
city of new haven, just keep an eye out for the kid with 2 bud lights raised in
the air!
Ty Cirenna:TY, THE
BIG DAWG, BROCK
Bio: This Rocky Hill native has a big future lined up for
him in the unit. Also a candidate for rookie of the year, he had a huge impact
on the unit's inaugural season of flag football catching a ton of balls and
making big plays for the U. Is a gentle giant that is always giving dap every
time you see him and make sure you got the guns up.

Can be found: roaming the halls of the 2nd
floor.
Tom Roche:ROCHE
Bio: Roche is a Hamden high graduate and is the boss when
it comes to hockey. He anchors down the
SCSU hockey team by laying big hits and making big plays; when it comes to his
slap shot you'd better get out of the way or else you might wanna call the
paramedics.
Height: 5-10
Can be found: in his room packing a bomb
Seb Marino: ROMEO,
SEBATIANNNNNN!!!
Bio: Huge Dallas Cowboys fan as well Tony
Romo(Homo). Enjoys getting beat in
Madden by just about everyone and loves taking a weekly whipping from james for
$$$$$. Although he took his share of ass beatings he did end up beating Bern a
couple of times on the system know as PS3 (HORRIBLE). Has a cannon for an arm
when it comes to football and is a loving husband to his lovely wife, Alyssa.

Jason
Polakowski:JAY
Bio: One of the most loyal Jet fans on the SCSU campus
and enjoys watching every game in the comfort of his own room. Is a fast mother
and can, as forest would say “run like the wind”. Is a great addition to the
unit and a great friend to all. Gets up every morning for breakfast with Bern,
Rich, Seb, and Dydyn (breakfast club).

John
Seferian:SCRUFF
Bio: Resides in Trumbull, CT with his family and also
enjoys playing Madden and running trains on his opponents. Is a hard worker and future gym teacher of
the year. Lifts consistently at the Moore field house and enjoys pick up
football. Lost him this year in the expansion draft, therefore he is now an RA
in Neff.

Can be found: Nasty Neff
Berto: BERTO
Bio: Lives in Stamford, CT and enjoys coaching football
at Westhill high school. Is a great
running back himself and always will be known for pulling the greatest prank
ever on Will Barbour. He said “fight tru
the towel come on you can do it fight tru it” and that is just how it went down
for Will Barbour; he fought right into a hole he couldn’t escape.

John Davis:DAVIS
Bio: Born in Jersey and played 2 years of high school
football. Came to SCSU to dominate and roam the grounds of Jess Dow Field at
safety. Has a good work ethic and will
remain in the Unit's hall of fame one day.
Lived in chase for 2 years, one of the founding fathers of this unit.

Will Barbour:WILLIE
BEAMAN
Bio: A great soldier and four father of the unit, also
lived in chase for 2 years previously and enjoyed great time with Bern, James,
Davis, Rich, and Marko. One of the best
Volleyball players in Unit history. Only guy that ever took himself on in the
competitive sport. He will always be
remembered for his great jokes and good personality.

Marko Cvetic:DRINK
40 BEERS
Bio: Not much else to say but he left the unit to go on
to bigger and better things. Now resides in Penn State with Joe Paterno who
trains him in preperation for the NFL.
Best memory was when he went to fairfield with Gambino for a party and
called us up to get him when he was sick.
We asked him what was wrong the answer was “Head, Stomach, Throat” haha.

Ariel:THE BALLER
Bio: One of
chase hall's finest ballers. Has the handles of iverson and the jumper of bird.
Is also another long time chase guy and is going on his 2nd year
here in the building.

Can be found: moore field house tearing it up on the
courts
Larence:LAAAAAAARENCE
Bio: Another one of chase hall's finest ballers. Is known
for throwing dice in the common room and dropping 50 pts one game of 3-on-3 at
the field house. Is Caputo's roommate
and usually is nice enough to pick up Mike when he had too much pop off.

Can be found: at the field house tearing it up with his
nasty J
Marcus
Armstead:MARCUS
Bio: Is known to roam the halls of the 2nd
floor and not take shit from no one... is also famous for his Loooooong Island
impressions that always get everyone to laugh.
Has a great sense of humor and loves that purple drank. Also represents the SCSU step team and stomps
the yard.
Height: 5-9
Can be found: everywhere
Tucker Ruggiri:TUCK
Bio: It was without question the night a socos when tuck
was ready to throw down for other unit member that his unit status was
clear. He is a good kid that works out
consistently and hooks everyone up when we're out in the night life.

Can be found: where the chicks are at (as can be seen in
photo above), R bar-Fri and Gotham-Thurs
